Been a while since we've had any activity in the Dream Discussion forum... and my dream last night got me to wondering.

When you're lucid, do you try to change the landscape? (are you able to?)

..And if so, what do you find effective? How well does it work?

I've never been lucid enough to try that.
The closest that I come is when I'm just falling asleep, I can sometimes influence my dream by envisioning myself in the sort of setting that I want to dream in.
